This game is pretty entertaining, although I don't care for the multiplayer much.

One question though:

WTF does this have to do with the first FarCry game? Once the intro screen is done and it doesn't say "FarCry" on the screen, there doesn't seem to be the slightest connection between the two. It's like they took a game they had in development and decided that it might sell better if they used the name of another popular game. Am I missing something?

Name is the only thing the two games share. Even the developers are different.

Multiplayer sucks.

Singleplayer sucks.

Graphics are nice, though.

I was a little disappointed myself but over all it was a good time killer. Did get boring after about half way through the first part running from one end to the other.

If you use the bus transit system it makes traveling alot easier.

A good game with a shitty ending  that could have been epic with a few tweaks.

Got rid of FarCry 2  for Fallout 3 and a very good decision it was.  In FarCry 2, there is way too much travel time to have to deal with in the fuckin jeep and it takes forever to kill someone with your chosen weapon.

No No NO!!!  You're doing it wrong!!

Use the 50 BMG for EVERYTHING!!!  one shot, one kill...

LOL.  I had fun with the game –– Fallout 3 is better though.

Yeah, I'll second that emotion. Like a lot of games I've played it could have been a terrific game with just a little more effort. As far as having anything to do with the first Far Cry, I guess the only thing they have in common is driving vehicles.

I liked far cry 2, its fun to see how many different ways you can take out enemy camps with various weapon load outs.

It definitely had it's shortcomings, but it was one of the most polished games I've ever played.  No clipping, no bugs, nothing.

Also, the M79 is one of my favorite weapons from any game.
