Which flight sim allows the player to fly a Dornier 335, if any? I am currently fascinated with that plane after reading that when flying one of the Do 335s to another airbase for testing, after being captured by the allies, it walked away from it's Mustang P51D escort, and arrived at it's destination more than 40 minutes ahead of them. It was capable of 477mph@21,000 ft. Apparently it was an incredible plane to fly despite it's bulk. Just thought it might interesting to fly a sim of one, but I don't what's out there well enough. Do any flight sims for PC have the Do 335 as a flyable aircraft?

Ever played IL-2 Sturmovik? The Do-335 is definitely in the "1946" version and if you've never played this series before, you're in for a treat. It's one of the best combat flight simulators ever made. You can get the ultimate (and final release) version here. Well worth the money. Thanks, I will pick it up. Can you recommend a joystick/flightstick that works well with this game? I have found some games like certain control sticks better than others. |

This will work quite well. I have the wireless version, but if you're not looking to spend a lot, this will work just fine. I hope you get your Do-335 fix! |
