Who here plays it? I went to Best Buy intending to buy WiC, but I ended up getting ArmA instead. I'll eventually get WiC... I'm installing ArmA now... |

Shacktac is a unique gaming experience. Its not for everyone but for anyone who's interested in a structured, 'realistic' war gaming experience should apply to join and get forum access. From there you'll be able to join in our Saturday sessions where we typically get a full platoon or larger rolling, every week. Right now we have a few members running a persistant campaign which is quite fun, in addition to the large Saturday sessions and smaller Friday practice sessions. Anyone can feel free to PM me for videos or general questions. Instructions on how to join up are found at the bottom of this page. |
I was sold on that line there. I wouldn't be able to play on Friday's, but Saturday's and Sundays would be the best. |

Hi guys, Im a long time OFP player and picked up ArmA the week it was released in the US. Its not a heavily budgeted game but the designers intent was to make it a as life like battlefield experience as possible, i think it was a job well done. I always like to say, "its the closest thing to joining the armed forces" without getting your boots dirty. handle I hope to see more ppl from here on ArmA, it truely is a terrific game. |
