I'm going to be getting a 360 soon. My local Gamestop is out of them or I would have one already.

I'm going to be getting the core version & would like to know what memory device I should get. I will just be using it for game saves. Should I get the regular memory card or the harddrive?

definately go with the premium. you'll end up spending most of the amount saved on a memory card anyway. core: 280+30=$310  premium:$350  save up the extra $40 !!!
the core system may be a little cheaper up front, but it  is a crappy deal.
the hard drive is so much nicer.  you'll have it full in no time if you have online access....with all the extra content & demos. but, even if you don't want to do anything but save games, you'll be glad you have the hard drive.  the wireless controller is also a must.

and really, if you can cough up another $100 bucks, just get the Elite.  It'120 GB HDD is that much better.
