[ARCHIVED THREAD] - BF2 Mods

Is there any kind of description thread that goes through each of the mods and what they do to the game? I'm interested in messing around with them, but I want to know what they all do before I spend the time on it. I really enjoy vanilla BF2, and intend to keep playing it, but I like to branch out.

Project Reality is the best and only BF2 mod you need. Actually, it's basically a new game that uses the BF2 engine.

Yeah I played PR once and I almost threw my mouse out the window. PR might be the right game for some but for me....I'm gonna have to stick with BF2 until COD4 comes out for PC (hopefully).

Download the popular mods and give them a try. For me personally they were fun for about a week and then I went back to regular BF2. Same thing with SF, although I play it once in a while for fun.

THe first time I played Project Reality I hated it. After going to the website and reading about all the changes in gameplay and rules I can't play any other mod or game. PR if awesome. The only downside is that ther is only one server worth playing it on, the Tactical Gamers server.
