My brother introduced me to it and I recently started playing this and it is fun and funny as hell to play. Check it out on the server lists if you haven't already.  It has similar game play to one of the modes available in Aliens Vs Predator 2. One person starts as a zombie and goes around infecting other people who are then zombies who infect others. The game ends when everybody is a zombie (zombies win) or the timer runs out (humans win).

Some moron got me banned last night from my favorite server! He started telling everybody that some guy was messing up his barricades and what not and got everybody to vote kick him. THEN he starts telling everybody that I and some other guy are messing up his barricades as well and I'm thinking WTF????? I get on my mic and start telling him to shut the hell up and for people not to listen to him. His 10 year old joke's not funny blah blah blah. Then an admin gets on and he convinces them to ban me permanantly! A few other people were telling him to STFU and trying to kick him but we couldn't get enough votes. People like that get off on the fact that they are "untouchable" from physical harm for being such a dick over the internet.  My younger brother is gonna be pissed. It was his favorite server too and he plays on my Steam account.

Pretty much all I'll play CS:S wise now days. I'm an admin on the 'Zombie Mod | ToastyNET' server, so stop in if you ever see me in the players list. I try hard to keep it barricade destroyer/child free. It's not the best zombie server out there(dynamic ip even), but they have the barricade item physics set up nicely and removed zombie pull ability(so humans can win more) I also hang out on the Valhalla and Aurora ZM servers often. Very stress relieving.

The servers are probably still borked from the latest update, that's why you're seeing CT/T and no zombie action. Most zombie maps are shite indeed. There's only a few worth playing and keeping in rotation imo. zm_lil_panic is considered the standard. It's the dust2 of zombie mod, but a lot of people hate it. There's a few really good zm mod maps, spooky and well designed, but they're hidden amongst lots of turds. |
