Don't know if this will be of interest to any of you, but I really enjoy playing the game titled "Massive Assault Network 2" which can be found at link The game is often compared to Chess, in that it involves a lot of thinking, planning, double guessing, and even a certain amount of deception. If you combined the games of Chess and Risk, you'd have an idea of what this game is about. The game involves three different aspects: 1) Tactics (moving individual units, who to attack...) 2) Strategy (your overall 'game plan,' where to invade, strategic reserve) 3) Economics (spending revenue) MAN2 is designed to be a "play by email" type game, which means you needn't be online at the same time as your opponent. You take your turn and update the server, the opponent checks in, downloads your turn, makes his reply; on and on until there's a winner. Games can last a single afternoon, or be stretched out over the course of a month or longer. Anyway, if want to flex the muscle between your ears, you might give MAN2 a try. |
