Ummm...no. Most new big title games are available as code or physical copy. I just checked amazon every game I checked was available as physical copy and had the discount. Last few PC games I purchased (The Division, South Park, Doom, etc. all are physical copies. I dont do downloads unless its a steam super blowout sale. View Quote |

Logged in to play a bit today and noticed a bug...whenever I click on an intel cache it goes into the animation of my dude pulling out his cell phone to snap some pics, then just stops. The game isn't freezing...it's just not progressing to whatever comes after. Edited to add: Figured out what is happening - the menu screens aren't popping up. I did an assault on a village to grab a sicario and interrogate him. After grabbing him the usual menu option to knock out or interrogate never came up, but I hit the B button and it interrogated him. Not sure if this is a visual bug, or what. Edit #2 - Figured it out - the Intel HUD option got somehow toggled off. Turned it back on and all is well. Downloads seem to be the goto method, but physical copies still exist. Even Dark Souls 3 had a DVD when it first came out (pretty hard to find now for reasonable price). I just can't bring myself to trust downloads. I like to have something tangible in my hands. You can also sell or trade in a physical copy if need be. Pretty hard to do with digital. Oh well...guess I am just getting old. View Quote |

Figured out an easy way to beat the El Cardinal mission.
Click To View Spoiler After struggling with it on extreme difficulty a few times (had trouble escaping the church without dying or allowing the target to get too far away), I found an easy way is to just spawn a helo from the rebels. Then take out the two snipers: one on top of the church, and another on the wall at the entrance. Then just fly up and land on the roof of the church. Walk down the scaffolding to the spot you need to hack. Take out the sicario w/ a pistol. Hack the computer, head back up the scaffolding and head back up to the choppa. Follow El Cardinal's car until he gets out. Land, grab him and put him in the choppa. Profit.

The draw distances are not uniform in the game. You can spot civilians further out. In the first pic, if I hadn't killed him with plunging fire through the roof(791m), he would have hopped out and huddled next to the car. You are correct in saying that people that far are very small. The guy would fit inside one of the circles. Hard to see, unless there is great contrast, hence dirt road next to the salt flats, excellent lighting. I've shot further there, closer to the build(850m), and made a kill. But civilians don't count. I believe you said you finished the campaign, so the last rescue mission, changes things. Right? That's how it gets counted. I use the MSR(With the 5x, don't like the reticule of the 6x) instead of HTI. The MSR(IMHO) has a better firing arc. The HTI shoots flat, but dives at the end, harder to range shots. The MSR reload is fast enough, that I can add another 50-75m, adjust, and fire again. I spent about 4 hours on Sunday practicing this though. I can usually scope and kill at about 400m first shot. My longest is 777 meters on my XB1.
I beat that and maxed everything out and ended up getting it for PC since no one plays it anymore on Xbox. Bought it for PC and starting over. My goal is to not do missions solo, but rather do them in co-op. Add me on steam " VenatorLuporum " . I play nearly every evening. I hate how I set my my matchmaking preferences to language and mic but like yesterday I only got people with no mics and if they did have mics, they only spoke spanish. |

This game sucks. Sorry I wasted the money on it. Very redundant. The worst are stealth missions where even if I kill a guy when before he completely detects me and can even do anything, I get a failed missions. Fucker is in a building all alone, who did he alert?
Flying helicopters is horrible, its basically hopping in and hoping for the best. Needs more fast travel points to get around the big, boring, map since you can't depend on flying. |

You are now in forward flight mode and you use the W A S D keys to control your pitch and roll. To revert back to Hover mode then just release SHIFT. The Space bar works as well in place of shift. I am really starting to enjoy the game..the AI on it is kind of neat...baiting the rebels to deal with Unidad.
With me being an old aviator, I like stealing the planes and the helo's..I fuck up most side missions, tho. The sniping is getting better..I had a SHIT TON of skills I didn't upgrade..now I did..cool game. The m203 is the bomb against vehicles pulling up on you. "Ok, good shooting." |

I've found the HT1 rifle to be excellent at knocking out vehicles and helos usually in one shot. Two shots on armored stuff. It's also great for taking out jammers and generators at long range.

I'm trying to enjoy this one, but not sure if Wildlands will stick with me. I'll try out the multiplayer feature soon and hopefully that will change my mind.
Perhaps it's been said earlier but... Wildlands is simplistic re-skin of FarCry4. Same. Exact. Gameplay. It's an open map with unlockable regions, endless side missions and treasure chest placements, pop up chase missions, non-destructive environment... I hate the over the shoulder viewpoint - and it only seems to compound the clunky and slow character movement. Looking back in the thread now for ARFCOM team on PS4. |
