okay so i have to get this off my chest. before you start telling me im a troll, a hater, and a game snob ive been a battlefield fan since the beginning. at heart im a PC gamer, but my computer is now a little outdated so i was forced to play bf3 on 360, and now bf4. bf3 was everything i hoped it could be and more, literally played it two years straight. what the fuck happened with bf4? i bought it knowing the xone is going to be out soon, but being a battlefield fan i bought it anyways. i wasn't expecting amazing mind blowing graphics on an 8 year old console, if anything i figured it would look pretty much the same as bf3 but with some new maps, few different weapons, tanks/trucks, and aircraft. i just cant get over how terrible the game looks, it shouldn't have even been released on current gen consoles if they knew it was going to look like this, oh and HEY, because you wasted $65 on our game that we KNEW was going to look like shit, we'll make it only $9.99 for you to upgrade to the copy for xone. what bs. and WHY mess with the controls? its been the same since BC. bf4 now has this arcadish feeling to it like i was playing COD. wheres that BF feel? thats why we play BF!! it broke my heart having to take it out within the hour and put bf3 back in.... rant over. (sorry)

| I'd wait. Its so fucking buggy on PC its almost unplayable. Only about 20% of the time do my stats count, other 80% of the time I get disconnected, crash out, or otherwise lose my progress. I unlocked the same fucking grenades 7 times now, and I STILL haven't unlocked them permanently. . . . |

Granted the game tabs out for no apparent reason then I hop back in but it seems stable for me. I know people are having issues but I think generalizing it as buggy is way off base. One of my roomies in in a similar boat though the other with a GTX660 has had a number of crashes which were eliminated by lowering the graphics settings a bit. |

This is why you don't buy next gen titles on current gen hardware.  +1 and for sticking with an Osamabox... did you not play the BF4 Beta? that was your fore warning, graphics were already there the Beta was only to fix things that could be fixed in patches... I too have been a BF fan since the begining in early 2000's with 1942 and the DC series... the controls are more reactive not so sluggish is what your feeling, yes the controls are arcade like, but you can change them in settings... |
