DId you ever play NS1? I played the original a LOT, and still think it was one of the best gaming experiences Ive ever had, even though mechanically the game wasnt a "Tier 1" title. I preordered NS2 very early in the process, and toyed around with some of the Alphas and Betas. I have been playing it a little since the release (been busy with work and such) and I am really impressed with it. It is a very good successor to NS1, and a fun and pretty game overall. I will warn you, get ready for massive rage when you get a commander who is worthless. Its bad enough when your team is worthless, its worse when its the commander. If you like teamwork based FPSes, or if you want to get good at commander and play it like a RTS, its a great game. I really like the new take on the powered armor. In NS1 it was like a beefed up suit that was more like a larger marine, using all the same weapons as the normal marines. The new Exosuit is a fun change from that. |
