Finally built a new PC. Last one been going strong since 08 (w/upgrades over the years) but it's time to retire it.
Specs on new build:

Cooler Master Masterbox 5
I7-7700k
ROG Strix Z270E Gaming MB
EVGA GTX 1080 FTW
32Gb Corsair Vengence DDR4 3200
Corsair H100i v2
EVGA 750 B2
REACTOR 480Gb SSD
WD Blue 1Tb HDD
Windows 10 64bit

Pics suck, but were from initial building/testing. I'll have to grab some better ones that show the final product.

That loop is nuts, really digging the skeletor in there too.

I got a few upgrades done this weekend

Old:

New:

New case, cpu, mobo, ram. I kept the GPU, HDD, SSD, and cooler from the old build. I want to swap the cooler out for a cryorig r1 since the thermals in the case are pretty meh and the h115i is a jet engine at load. I also don't use a whole ton of storage, even after 2 years on the old build I never managed to fill up a 1tb HDD since I don't leave games sitting around if I don't play them, so I'm hoping to get a 1tb ssd over black friday and get rid of the HDD. Overall the system is a little snappier and I'm running higher minimum frames in all games with slightly lower max frames in some but higher max frames in others. I do however notice an absolutely massive difference with multitasking. Using shareplay on the old rig would cause a momentary freeze in all games when using instant replay while the new upgrades are completely seamless. Alt tabbing, running multiple programs in the background with no performance hit, etc, running really smooth overall.

Just picked up a Asus - ROG Strix GL702VS

i7-7700HQ
12GB DDR4 2400 Ram. Single channel bleh.  Will be swapped out for 16GB CORSAIR Vengeance DDR4 2400 in dual channel tomorrow.
1TB WD 7200 rpm HDD.  Adding a WD M.2 500GB SSD tomorrow also.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 w/ 8GB GDDR5

3DMark scores.

13058 Firestrike score
5093 Timespy score.

Should be able to bump those up with the better ram in dual channel and some other tweaking.

Trying to decide to build a desktop in the next few months, or hold off until the 20XX series Nvidia cards release.

Just changed the setup from 3x 23" 1080p, 60hz, 5ms monitors to 1x 27" 1440p, 144hz, 1ms, g-sync with a 24" 1080p in portrait.

1440p is incredible. And the monitor feels crazy large sitting in front of it. Before and after:

The new front panel design makes a lot of sense, finally some airflow, those cloud connected microphones though to control fan curves? WTF

Upgraded to SLI 1080 Tis. Also cut the Intel 750 SSD out of the loop cuz it wasn't benefiting from liquid cooling.

Waiting on some more custom VGA cable extensions to complete the look.

I love my S8. After seeing yours, I wish I'd done mine in black as well. I did a white exterior, with a black interior, and then used white monsoon plastic tubing with white case sleeving. It looks decent, but I think a black exterior would look better.

Current battlestation incarnation... Junky at the moment as I've been collecting more parts for use in a new VR rig once my Singularity Computers Spectre case comes in. Just got myself an AOC AGON 35" ultrawide for my birthday since my old Viotek started pooping out on me. 21:9 curved, 1440p at 120hz with GSync is the way to go.

New build in progress. Not the newest tech, but it should work fine for me. Frame is finished and computer is fully operational. Just need to finish the 40mm ammo can it's going in and make a plexi top for it.

Just need to figure out how to squeeze one more case fan in there.

lol nope.
Probably asking due to the mic.  Already owned my Sennheiser headphones which I love, seemed simpler to buy a stand alone mic than replacement pair of headphones to game with.

Also, a mediocre gamer who's deaf in one ear, and often dies due to it...
I doubt there's a market for that kind of "content" lol

Awesome, glad you like it. I was watching reviews on it the other night. Have one parts list based on the MB530P, but leaning toward the H500 series now.
