Hi all:

I went to the gym yesterday and had the first real upper body workout in three years.  I have had shoulder problems that have kept me from lifting and have lost almost thirty pounds.  Yesterday, I wanted to take it easy, but also try many different exercises and see which ones did not hurt my shoulders.  However, trying different things, I may have overdone my tricepts.

This morning, my right elbow / lower tricep is pretty sore.  Right above the elbow is a hard bump.  I cannot tell if I injured my elbow or a tendon, or if it is just muscle soreness.  It feels more like soreness from overload than an injury, but I thought I'd pick your brain.  I iced it twice this morning.

Any ideas?

Thanks. :)

Thanks.

By the end of yesterday, the bump softened and today the soreness is almost gone.  This morning, I had the same soreness on my left elbow.  Weird, but 'm sure it will go away, by tomorrow.

When you first start working out triceps, take it real easy. They can get real sore if you go too hard too quick and it will mess with a lot of your other exercises, namely presses.

This morning I woke up with the same thing, my left elbow hurts when I move my forearm up and down, sometimes it's not hurting, sometimes it's bad, almost like something was broken in there.

I did a new exercise, and I think it didn't take it well.
