Did a search, couldn't find anything on the subject.
Okay, here's the scoop. I used to play college and semi-pro football. During my playing time I used to take a barrage of vitamins, minerals, powdered drinks and this and that. Some of the pills I took included DHEA, Nor-Androstein and Androstein. I used these on a 4 week cycle with great results. My strength increased immensely. I have been retired from football for about 4 years now and during that time have taken a long, long break from working out. I guess I was just burned out, but now am getting back into it again. My goals have changed, I am focusing more on cardio and fat management. I am not lifting weights at the moment, but my workouts consist of solely of running (long distance 3 days sprints with weights on 2 days). My question is on the substance HGH (Human Growth Hormone). I am wanting something (legal) to take for a short time, to help burn fat. I have read great things about HGH, but know very little about it. So in addition to researching on the internet, I thought I would ask the gurus here as well. Is HGH legal? Or is the over-the-counter stuff just fake? Is it as good as claimed? Where is the best place to get HGH? Who makes the best quality stuff? Thanks for the help. |

Based on that anything over the counter that claims to contain HGH is a scam. There are some products out there that alledgedly boost the production of HGH in your body when taken, but I have not tried any of these so I have no idea if they acctually work. I found pages and pages by searching Google, might be worth a good look before you waste money on something fake and to see if HGH will do what you want, if you can obtain it legally. J- |

Controlled substance Or is the over-the-counter stuff just fake? yup Is it as good as claimed? Go to a bobybuilding forum. I'm guessing there's only a few guys here who have taken it. Where is the best place to get HGH? A Dr. at one of these wellness and aging centers. Not cheap. Who makes the best quality stuff? Thanks for the help. |

For anyone wanting the benefits of HGH I would suggest thinking about astronauts.
Astronauts atrophy in every way comparable to the elderly with their decreased HGH production. We know this is the result of reduced gravity , the solution is to multiply gravity which requires applying more weight to your body. The solution is resistance training. |

You don't understand using the analogy of the astronaut? ETA- their bodies suffer the exact symptoms as the elderly. |

Thanks for the help. +1 no growth isn't "legal", its a controlled substance, RX required. If you are under 35, growth won't do shit for you, minimum time to take it is 6 months, and thats really a waste. Growth isn't a big WOW HOLY SHIT THATS AMAZING substance, its very slow process, taken for years. I really don't see growth helping much for your goals, if you are a runner, and not losing fat, something else is wrong. Look at your diet. Eli lilly growth is good, but expect to pay big bucks through an anti-aging clinic, alot of insurance companies won't pay for it. So you will most likely be coming out of pocket to the tune of $20-40 an IU if not more. I'd go to the doctor and get my thyroid checked along with test levels if its super hard to lose fat, something is wrong. |

I do need a better diet though, I know that will improve things dramaticly. |

HGH's prefered fuel is fat.
HGH's best exercise is resistance. Cardio theoretically targets fat but quickly switches to glucose as oxygen saturation drops. The solution is to start off completely resistance and slowly transition to a cardio routine. Eating every 2 hours instead of 3 times a day is almost as good as eating "healthy". Work out first thing in the morning before you eat- this will allow you to burn 200% more fat . Get 8 hours of sleep. |

Winstrol Winstrol? WTF, sure if you want trashed joints that ache 24/7 to the point you can't workout from the dryness. If I was going solid fat loss, nothing beats clen + t3 with a diet and cardio... DNP>* (as long as you don't kill yourself )Lol I don't think so. I know pro ifbb bodybuilders who wont touch that stuff. Fast fat loss, but lifetime side effects. |

The best way for you to get HGH without a prescription (hypothetically speaking) is to go to Nogales, Tijuans, Juarez and visit a "pharmacy" and buy eli lilly Humatrope.....It will cost about 240$$ for a 5mg. kit.......you will need to buy as many "kits" as you can afford to do a cycle and if you are under 40 you will see only modest gains and results for all that money.
You would be better off buying test enatat qv 250 ....much cheaper and more effective......If money is no object run them both like someone like Sylvester Stallone or a pro bodybuilder would do. also you must be comfortable injecting yourself in the stomach with a small insulin needle every day to run HGH. |
| In all seriousness Gabriel, without getting into the ethical and legal issues regarding HGH for performance/body composition, HGH can have some serious side effects, and if you're "just getting back into it" the risks vs rewards are nowhere near acceptable IMO. With a decent diet/exercise program, you'll get back into decent shape without risking acromegaly (among other things). |
