So, I'm into trying these new "wonder" bodybuilding routines.
The newest is FST-7 by rambod. Basically you do heavy compound movements, and then at the end of the workout. Pick a simple exercise for the given bodypart, and hit 7 sets with the same weight, back to back. Like drop sets, but you must do 7 sets, and you must use the same weight everytime, no dropping it. Sets of 10-12. Pump as much blood into muscle as possible. I've been doing this routine for a week, and got super sore after nearly 8 yrs of training(I rarely get this sore EVER except when I first started) Today did it with back, and fucked something up MAJOR in my back. Picked front lat pull downs, and on my 4th set something popped in my damn neck and I cannot move my head anymore. Fuck this program. |

This probably won't help you but when I stretch take a wider that shoulder width stance and I bend over at the waist. Then I just hang with my upper body more or less upside down. It helps to cross your arms and just let your head sort of hang. You can also gently rock back and forth. Take a few really deep breaths and then exhale slowly. It sounds stupid as hell but my entire upper back and neck will pop almost every time. The key is to relax as much as possible. |
