So I have been told to take my protein before and after my workout.  Which one is better?

I prefer Ergopharm GF Pro as a pre-workout because it's flavored to mix with water.  Even the thought of drinking milk before a workout makes me sick to my stomach

For post workout, anything goes.  I prefer Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard whey or Pro Complex depending on how much protein you're looking for per serving and if there's any other stuff you want in it.

If you're trying to conserve your supply, save it for after.  If it doesn't bother you either way... get both.

I eat something full in protein an hour or and a half before a workout, such as eggwhites. And after workout a protein shake.

Coffee before, protein after.
