I see this all the time.  seems they want to sweat more.  does this work?

If you need to loose water to make weight for a weight class restricted competition it does but a plastic suit does better.  Water loss is only temporary. Sweating does not equal fat loss.

I don't see why people do that with the exception of the aformentioned reason making weight. Nothing like wearing all of those uncomfortable clothes to dehydrate yourself durring a workout. No thanks.

I hear you.  thanks for the info.  I agree with previous, I wear the thinnest layers of underarmour or nike drifit every time.  It won't look pretty till I lose some more weight, but it feels great!
