Not to hijack the thread but I’ve had my concept 2 model c for about 2.5 years. Never had an issue with it and I recently found out my pm2 has a non resettable lifetime meter counter. If I am reading correctly my rower has over 78 million km on it?!?

I rowed 8km last night and the monitor went from 78398 to 78406. Is 78 million meters even possible?

Did you buy it used? Is there a manufacture date somewhere on it? That it would be 78 million meters , not 78 million kilometers. 78million kilometers is 78 billion meters.

Thanks! Nothing makes me feel weaker than trying to strict OHP 25 pound dumbbells without turning it into a push press.

Yeah I bought it used from a local school superintendent who said he couldn’t use it much because of back pain. It must have been used at a rowing club somewhere? I don’t know anyone that could have rowed that much! It’s a model C which was produced between 93-2003.

That is definitely a mystery. I would take a photo of the screen and any label you can find and send it to Concept. Might be the world's most used rower.

That would be a great score. Even if it doesn't work, you might be able to find a replacement for cheap.

That's the reputation they carry. When we put together our home gym, I knew I wanted a rower. My wife asked me what kind, I immediately said Concept 2. No need to look elsewhere. They are used all over, used for decades, and great machines. Now, go put another 78 million on it.

Injuries suck. As does the constant changing of the weather causing sinus issues.

I don't expect anyone to be in this for anyone but themselves. Just a fun little challenge to mirror the running challenge thread.

lol. I’m doing it for you. Every time I don’t want to row I think about poor PKT1106 rowing in here all by himself.
ETA: I also want a million meter t-shirt.

Yesterday: 7000/309,000
15 push-ups after each 1000m

Today: 5000/314,000
10 hammer curls per arm after every 1000m, 25lb dumbbells. I really wanted to go further but my time was limited.

5x 500m intervals with 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 10 sandbag squats (80#) after each. All of this with a 30# weight vest (even the rowing).

Then 3x 10 sandbag OHPs with 80#, 10 DB curls 20# with fat gripz, then a set of 10 sandbag lunges with 80#. All of this with the 30# vest as well.

Something I don't add is that I do a ruck at 5am before my rowing/strength. At least 2 miles with weights from 52# to 97#.

I got my 1MM meter t shirt from Concept 2. 100% pre-shrunk cotton. 100% worth it.
