14.65 / 2,895.66 My first actual long run since my marathon. Felt pretty good, but the extra days off are showing a bit. After nearly two weeks of severely lacking motivation I think it may be coming back. Definitely enjoying a day off ahead of planned hill sprints tomorrow. |

Quoted: Since it looks like my running mojo is back, I think so. It's about 10k a day to hit 3,000 from here. I should be getting 12-14+ miles 3x days a week for workouts and long runs, and probably 8-10 another 3x days. Should be enough "extra" on running days to buy me Sundays off to rest and maybe Christmas or another random day off as well. Definitely enjoying a day off ahead of planned hill sprints tomorrow. Feeling some tightness from the hill repeats this morning. Getting out of bed tomorrow may suck! |

After 1230 miles, those brooks adrenaline gts-18's are finally retired. Right shoe just went totally flat on me and then I started getting ankle and calf pain and had to stop, so less that 6 miles today. |

Got sick (again!) and had to take another few days off, right as I was getting back in to things. My fitness has absolutely tanked over the last few weeks. |

While I didn't run much of anything at Disney, my Garmin says I walked 133k steps in the last week averaging 19,000 a day. My feet and lower back are beat but I felt like it was good to get longer periods of time on my feet. Time to start my runs back tomorrow.

Quoted: Isn’t it funny how just standing and walking can cause so much back pain and discomfort? I love museums (aviation, natural history, art, etc) but damn, I’m sore after spending a day walking around in one. View Quote |

Grabbed some Brooks Ghost 11s today for some distance. I'm keeping my Nikes as I wear them for work and to beat them up if running outside in grass or the like.
Huge difference in the Brooks vs Nikes based on feel. They will hit the treadmill tomorrow morning. |
