Decreased testosterone levels, lack of physical exercise due most likely to sedentary job, stress causing release of cortisol, slower metabolism likely due to two meals per day. End of day eating at night due to hunger of eating just two meals per day. Could be poor sleep as well. Bulk of your carbohydrates are likely simple carbohydrates rather than complex. Could be an imbalance to vitamin intake as well going on.

The way I see it, our bodies are perfectly adapted to the environment they live in, based on our age, genetics, etc. If you work in an office, eat crap all day and dont exercise and are 300 pounds...congrats your body is perfectly adapted TO THAT. If we want to not be fat and have some muscle, we have to give our bodies a darn good reason to be like that. And for us over 40 guys, unless you won the genetic lottery, it just takes effort. |
