Is there rough estimate to converting HS weight to free weight? Maybe like .75XHS weight, or something like that?

not really....what would be the point?  If you want to know how much you bench press do the bench press.

Crushing my chest working out by myself doesn't sound to fun

I bench press every week, alone, in my garage, with no issues. Get the proper equipment and it's perfectly safe.

To answer you original question...no. The movements are different. One uses a machine. One uses a barbell. Apples and oranges.

I'm also unaware of any hard and fast conversion.

As for working out alone... dumbbells, weighted dips, even benching in a rack with the pins set so the bar can touch your chest but not your neck.

I'm in the minority here, but honestly, unless you're a competitive powerlifter, I think the barbell bench is an overrated movement. Good, sure. Essential like deads or squats? No.

I bench alone all of the time.  Don't put locking collars on the bar and don't have anything you don't want damaged or in the way close to the bench.  This way you can dump the weight.  Just be prepared so that when the weight goes off of one side it's going to flip back the other way real quick.

I really like the HS machines for rowing and overhead press, but I rarely use HS machines that simulates the bench press.  I'll use the incline press HS machine from time to time.  I'm not aware of a conversion.

I did not mean that as smartass as it sounded. I meant there would be no exact conversion because everyones mechanics are a little different. It may be .70 for me and .75 for you so you would not be getting an accurate conversion anyway, so what is the point. Besides your programming should be based on what exersices and weights that you use not what you theoretically could do on any exersice you dont do.

As far as benching alone. I have done it for years in my garage. I just set the chains to a hieght that catches the weight when inlose my arch and collapse my chest. Then i can push it out and way and slide out. I have had 410lbs caught that way. I am sure there is a video somewhere showing something similar but i am on my phone.

Using dumbells are an option.  My gym has dumbells up to like 150 pounds or something.  Every now and then I'll use dumbells instead of barbells just to hit the muscles in different ways.  But they are safer if you get in trouble while bench pressing.

It just doesn't translate.
