Soooo, i busted my calf mysteriously after doing some squats the night before... woke up with a massive bruise and bump on it and have been stumbling around for a month.  Have an MRI scheduled next week but in the mean time have managed to pile on 15 lbs due to overdrinking, eating, and being immobilized.  Do any ARFCOM experts have any advice on what cardio supplements can be done when running is not an option?  Going to cut the drinking and carb intake as much as possible, but looking to do what I can in the mean time while this gets resolved.  What say ye!?

You put on 15 lbs in a month

Cut those calories, carbs first in my opinion

What can you do?  Walk, stand, support weight at all, or primarily just sit?

You have a massive bruise and a bump on your calf for over a month and you're and just now getting it checked out? I'm thinking if you had it checked out within a few days you would have a better idea of what to do.

Cut carbs, quit drinking, hope for the best until it's healed.
