I think I looked at those but in the hardtail configuration, how much does it weigh?

Edit: Also, your discs are fucking camouflaged.

I think it weighs about 28 pounds, as it sits. I really like it, as it'll do XC duty one day, and some all mountain the next. Pretty versatile bike!

The discs were custom made, from the wings of a stealth bomber. Only set o the planet!!

I pretty much over built the Hardrock so its my hardtail downhill bike/ dirt jumper and the Kona is just a stock all mountain for now.

Haro Thread 8 frame that I built up as a single speed. It's meant for dirt jumping but I use it for everything. Not the most comfy ride and it's a heck of a workout taking it any kind of distance. I did a 20 mile trip on it a couple Saturdays ago.

Here is my Stumpjumper.  I bought it new in 2000.  I rode it a lot for the first couple years, but now it mostly sits.  My wife and I recently got into road biking, and it kind of renewed my interest in the mountain bike as well.  I had it up on Craigslist, but I've since decided to keep it.  I just ordered some new shoes, new Shimano clipless pedals, new XC Fire Pro tires (red), and some brake pads for it.  Looking forward to getting back into it.

I'm still out riding in this weather, though they're short trips.

One of the advantages of living right on the edge of the National Forest... you can ride right out of the neighborhood onto the N.F. trails.

And the first flower I saw this spring.

Ah, there are houses on both sides of that.

How do you 'like' night riding?  The thought kinda spooks me, I feel like I'd miss something...

Nice. Love Specialized bikes. I had an FSR years back, but I cracked the frame jumping off this big staircase... lol. Always been a Cannondale guy myself. Got this in late May and have about 400 miles on it. This was the just got it home pic. Still had reflectors and dork disc on it.

my ride for the last two months or so....

Trek Mamba 29

new tires last week, new FD next week... rear tire is maxed out

near future upgrades: 203 brakes (going to need help figuring this out) and plan to drop the 41T (or 42?) front gear and throw on a bashguard.

edit:
removed the wheel stickers, picked up the FD and went with 180 front rotor

Just got done after her 1st ride and its like riding on butter. So much better than a HT.

I went with 26ers because I got a killer deal on the frame. Almost 2K off on the frame alone.
