Disclosure: I'm personally "against" scales.  In my mid-thirties, and have never owned one.

I've weighed twice in the past 1.5yrs... once at my doctor, and a second time at a friend's house, on his bathroom scale.

Have recently started using the MyFitnessPal app, and seeing the flat "progress" line is starting to bother me.

I'm not planning on weighing daily, but maybe monthly.  Weekly at the absolute most.

Any recommendations on a $10-$40 at one of the big-box stores?

Is there one from a specialized fitness seller on Amazon that I should look at?

And so on and so forth...

Thanks in advance.

I've had the same crappy bathroom scale for 10 years. It could be five or ten pounds off from my actual weight for all I know, but it seems to stay consistent, so it works for me.  ...Point being, so long as it doesn't make crazy wild fluctuations, any cheap bathroom scale will work.

This company has outstanding customer service and I have had zero issues with the scale.  I also bought one of there kitchen scales for food measurements.

I got this one a week ago, works well near as I can tell. I have not played with all the features yet, just basic weighing.
