| Last year I did couch to 5K and spent most of my gym time on the various machines. Over 18 months I went from 225# to 185#. The last three months the weight has been creeping back on so I am chaning it up. I am at 199# right now and trying to keep under the 200#. Seeing as I am not much for free weights I am doing a simple body weight work out. This morning I went on a 1/2mile walk to warm up, came home stretched, and did plank, side plank, one leg squat and reach, push ups, and bicycle cruch 1min each, 15 seconds in between, and ran through it twice. Holy cow! It's a bit like starting over. I like that I can do it at home and it requires very little space. Life was crimping the amount of time I could spend at the gym and this I can do at home and fit it in. Tuesday I weigh in at work for a weight loss competition. I don't plan to win, I just need that push to help me keep my eye on the prize. I know CSB, at least I am still on the wagon. |
