I've been without an iPod for nearly a year and tonight I decided to bite the bullet and just ordered a refurbished nano from Apple. So to celebrate having my own tunes in the gym again, post any songs that help get you through the pain in your training. Fucking love Deftones. First band i saw in concert when they were touring for White Pony. |
| Is this forum full of metal heads, or is it just the metal heads who are responding? I can conceive of it being the latter because, in general, metal heads are more connected with and passionate about their music than listeners of any other genre. And rightfully so since pretty much every other genre is trite and formulaic, the listeners of which being a bunch of non-hackin' pukes. |

Then deadlift hummer tires.

Tonight I saw the final show of the tour; Anthrax, Testament, Death Angel.
Why is this in the fitness forum? Because I did CrossFit Moshing, that's why! I have more stamina and more strength than the average metal head. That's an understatement. Ninety percent of the guys in that room were pathetic messes. Physically, that is. I'm sure most of them had wonderful personalities... |
| heh heh, so true. I only played in the pit during Testament. But there was so much bare, sweaty blubber sloshing around in there that I was getting sort of skeeved out, so I eventually quit the pit and just watched the show. During Anthrax I muscled my way to the front. The crowd was so dense and crushing that you couldn't totally control your movement. After a little while I realized that the crushing of he crowd was actually like a deep tissue massage. Sort of like having someone walk on your back. It felt good because my back is always sore and tight. I left the show feeling stinky and refreshed. |

Lately I've been listening to a randomized mix of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pantera and Primus and Anthrax. Good stuff. Funky Power Energy Metal. I am disapoint oh yeah? Well I heard that after ten years of abstaining you recently started eating your boogars again, but do you see me tossing around frowning smilies all willie-nillie? No! You don't! So back off, cracka! Besides, I'm going to see Machine Head in January! My soul should be dark and infuriated for at least six months after that. |

Then I started listening to the lyrics. |
| Ugh... Don't tell me that. Now I need to go read their lyrics. Not because I'm looking for a reason to be turned off, but because you suggested it and my obsessive self must now go read. Man...if this messes up one of my favorite bands for me I am going to FedEx a severed lamb's head to you, every other Tuesday for one year! |

Pretty witty for an old fucker:). You should go hang out in GD. Half of them would hate you, the other half would want to take your wifes place in your anal pleasuring. I'm also guessing you had WAY to much fun in the '80s:) And another thread turned wtf huh! Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
