6-7 years of back pain... gone after the first 10 minutes. I've been doing it for about a month now and I highly recommend it to the repetitive motion athletes on here. I thought I had a strong core, but keeping your balance in some of these funky poses proved me wrong. It's definitely helped my riding form and overall comfort. |

How often do you do it? Do you go to a class or is it more of an at home thing? I've been doing it at home, about 10 minutes a day so far. I followed the above youtube vid and one other until I found a routine that flowed nicely. I'm not brave enough for a class yet; I've definitely broken a sweat with the new dvd my wife got: Yoga For Athletes. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Honestly yoga has been one of the best things that has helped me build overall strength. I do strength training often with heavy lifting and I know yoga really helps keep my muscles loose enough to help my gains and strength. Right now there's only one class for about 60-90 minutes a week where I live at, but trust me it is worth the time investment. Shit I would do it 3x a week if I could find it locally. Plus, the ladies. |
| I'm glad you brought this up. I have been very interested in starting something like this lately. I think yoga would be a good addition to my workouts, not just for adding flexibility, but for adding more strength in muscles I normally don't work. I might start off with the P90 X yoga video and go from there. |
