Poll Inbound
Just trying to see when most like to work out. I tend to go from 8:00 and later because there are less people than right after work. But then I dont get to bed as early. I am thinking about early morning stuff but I like my sleep too. |

Primarily first thing in the morning before work, that way it's done and over with for the day. If I have free time in the evening I might get a "bonus round". Do you notice any benefit to it other than getting it out of the way? IE do you feel like you have more energy or less? Id think Id be spend for work(even though I sit in a office all day) |

I don't ever make it to the gym at a consistent time.
I'm there usually there starting 4-5 PM, but sometimes I'll be there at 8 or 9 PM starting... There have been times I've been there from 10PM all the way until 12 AM starting time... Just whenever I can go, or feel like going, or need to blow off some steam. |

Id think Id be spend for work(even though I sit in a office all day) Some for me anyway; after excercise, a shower and breakfast, by the time I head to work I'm well awake, aware...energy is good, etc. Plus, by bedtime I'm usually good and ready to hit the sack and I used to be a chronic insomniac. I'm an arthritis sufferer as well, so it helps manage the chronic joint pain...I might get out of bed feeling stiff or creaky but exercise works like physical therapy. I always feel better after I'm done. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Most mornings: Run starts anywhere from 3:45am - 4:45am. I'm in the water immediately afterward... That's typically ~7 miles on foot + 2400-3000 yards in the water. I can usually be at work within about two-and-a-half hours of starting a workout, so it works well for me.
Rides: Whenever I can get them in. Lots of bike time on the weekends after swim practice. Resistance training: Whenever I can. Foot injury during Tuesday's run... Double pool workouts until it's feeling better

Depends really... I can't work out too early because I find my CNS isn't ready for the strain. Also, I try to eat 2-4 meals before I work out so I'll have energy/ideal strength levels (But I need time for those meals to settle). If I wait too late I find I've burned myself out with other physical activities. Since I am a student my schedule plays a role also.
Anywhere from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. I've found the gym I go to is fairly empty from 2:00-3:00pm so that is my prefered time. |
