Does anyone here have any experience with the Battling Rope workouts?  It looks kind of interesting.

Looks pretty gimmicky to me...as a supplement to a real workout it looks like it could be sort of fun though. A stand alone workout it is not however.

HAHA gimmicky my ass...use these with the Oregon State football team, doing HIIT ( High intensity interval training) they kick your ass (well more like arms, & shoulders). If you have a decent amount of room and are doing HIIT training they are a great workout to add in, yes I guess you could call it a supplement but, isnt the bench-press just a supplement to your workout??

its still not a stand alone workout by any means though.

Agreed, which is why I said "as a supplement it looks like it could be fun"



I would always be leery of something that claims it will get you in awesome shape that doesn't include any sort of weights.

agreed. and what we used is weighted, from 50lbs to 150 lbs. dependent on rope.

Cool, it really does look like it might be fun, and a good break from whatever one's standard routine is.
