Cool!
I really like my keymod rails. They dont chew my hands up like picatinny and reduce weight. Super happy to see BCM making KeyMod products. It always seemed silly to me to have keymod stuff then to mount things I'd have to screw on picatinny then mount to the picatinny. Its like mixing Legos and MegaBlocks. It works but if feels wrong. |

| I originally got so excited about this product, but now I'm sad that the top (at the mount) is so damn flat. Especially since the major benefit of 'most' KeyMod rails is that they are more ergonomic and rounded. I think I'll stick to modding the various Magpul vertical grips. Plus, I love BCM, but like Noveske their FDE is so damn light-khaki. |

It has to be designed that way or else it wouldn't be universal for other handguards. It doesnt stick out any wider than the widest part of the rail so your hand doesn't even notice it. |

What's the grips weight?
Getting the KMR keymod handguards for light weight, wouldn't want to spoil it with a heavy weight grip. The Magpul seemed to weigh less than the BCM grip prior to the keymod attachment, but then again, you need the rail for the magpul. James in Denver |
