Hey,

I tried installing my new Huber last night, and ran into two problems.

1) Trigger will not fire.  I don't know why, the trigger is in, safety can move and engage/disengage, and bolt catch works.

2) Trigger doesnt fit in the SPS stock.  I just need to file it to inlet, but does anyone know any tips i may not be aware of?

BONUS:  What to do with the old XMP piece o' crap?

I didn't get any help here, so I called up Huber.  He says the sear spring is likely not seated properly under the sear.

Will update if i fix it.

The only reason I am posting is to help anyone else, as Huber doesn't have a lot of information available on the internet.

I've identified the problem.  The trigger is out of spec.

The safety offset level is grinding against the bottom of the receiver, preventing the trigger from going into fire.  Per the request of Mr. Huber I am sending the trigger back so he may examine it, and potentially fix it.

First i've ever heard of an out-of-spec huber.

Final update:

Heard back from Huber today.  Somehow an older style of level arm for the safety made it onto my newer model trigger and thats what was causing the problem.  He replaced the arm, refinished the trigger, and It's on its way back to me.
