Wanted to see if this would work in a lever action? I saw the FTX would. I would be loading the 110 gr. If it would, what has been seen to be a good and reliable powder type and gr? I don't have a load measure from Hornady on this. Thanks.

Rule #1
Cant load a pointy bullet into a lever gun, bangity bangity.
Bends the tips over too, then they dont fly straight.
Round nose only.

You can load pointy bullets in .30/30, just don't load more than 2 at a time in a lever action. I load Nosler BT 125 grain and shoot them out of a Contender. They are also very accurate in my Marlin.

Thank you all. I will see what he would like to do. I have a hundred rounds of 110 max that I was going to use fo my bo but I am switching over to the Sst for that. Bigger bullet and good speed.
