| Anyone use the 6.8 for a long range gun? I'm looking to go our to about 600 yards and would like to use this gun when I start hunting again. (No I won't be trying to take deer at 600 yards.) Also, what brand of barrel is good on a budget. I've been looking at Wilson Combat. |

I don't know anything about ARPerformance, and they do get rave reviews on here.
I have tried to buy from them ,but they where sold out often. (that tells me their product MUST be very good!) However, I do have some experience with Wilson Combat barrels. I have built a 6.8 SPC using Wilson Combat barrels and mine was exceptionally accurate! 1 MOA is my experience. I have also built a rifle and a pistol in 7.62x40 from WC, and they where also 1 MOA or less. Needless to say, I have been very happy with the WC barrels and recommend them highly. . |
