Looking for a good starting point for loading up some .338 LM's w/ H1000 and 215 primers. Application to be a bolt action Windrunner w/ 30" bbl. 1:10 twist, I'd appreciate a powder load for both 286 and 300 grain projectiles. Would be nice not to have to reinvent the  wheel again. Just a reasonable load to work up from. It's my first endevor into reloading for precision guns. Lots of details to address, so a good powder charge would be a great help. At this point I'll be happy to put consistant, well placed, rounds down range at any distance. Work on the mile long shots later.

Rgds,
Ray

You are likely better off using online load data than a handbook.

Looks like 83g H1000 and 215 will get you 2383 FPS with 300g 0.338LM.

I am outing 90gr of H1000 behind a 300gr BERGER HOTM. It's a stout consistent load out of my Savage 111 LRH,

Ouch...  90 grains gets you 77 loads per pound of powder!
