What kind of tripods does the Magpul Tripod adapter fit?
I am looking for something besides the Manfrotto. Am I wasting my time? |

From the page it says: "Compatible exclusively with Manfrotto products using RC2/Q2 rapid connect adapter" What annoyed me about tripod adapters is how for the longest time, every one kept making them to interface with Manfrotto RC2 clamps and not Arca Swiss. But that seems to be shifting now that RRS has made an impact in the shooting industry, and since RRS utilizes Arca Swiss dovetails, people are making tripod adapters to interface with Arca Swiss style clamps. |

Exactly, but the tripod from my Leupold spotting scope fits, and I was wondering if anyone had found any others.

If they're not making an ARCA-compatible version they're seriously missing the boat.
The industry standard is ARCA, but I bet all the Magpul folks only use Manfrotto proprietary clamps. |
