A friend gave me this Leupold scope for my target/coyote hunting AR build. It's a 3.5-10x, mil dot reticle. I know I probably covered up some markings when I painted it with the rest of the rifle but can anyone help me with an ID of the model from the pics?

Thanks.

Looks like a Mark4 3.5-10x40 with capped turrets but it's kinda hard to tell with that front flip cover on there. Can't see if it's an AO model or not. They don't make a lot of scopes in 3.5-10x. Could maybe just as well be a VX3.
Answers to: 1" or 30mm tube and AO or not will help.

Whatever it is, your friend is a really good friend and you should at least give him a hanjo for that.

I just pulled the front Butler Creek cap off and guess what.....It says what it is right there.

"Mark 4 3.5-10x40 PR"

He was on a shooting team and they had products literally thrown at them all the time. Scopes, Harris bipods, McMillan stocks, reloading components, ammo, rifles, you name it. But one poor decision on his part got him fired. Imagine getting all that for free then getting fired for stealing a damn scope! Then on top of that he lied to a very good friend of his, bet you can't guess who, who was trying to get him a job.

Anyway, thanks for the ID help.
