Hello all,

On the Bushnell LRHS 3-12x44, once you set the zero stop, can you change the zero stop back to a lower setting?

How would you do this?

Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean.

You loosen 3 screws and turn the ring until the peg in the ring hits the peg coming from the base of the turret housing.  Then you re-tighten the screws and the zero stop is set.

Are you saying you want to go below the zero stop while it is set?  If so I don't think you can except for maybe a 1/10 Mil at most.

ETA: I will check the manual on mine tonight as I haven't set my zero stop yet.

Sorry if I was not clear.

I zeroed my rifle initially and set the zero stop exactly at my zero. Everything worked great until I needed to sight it in with my hunting load. My POI was a little high so i needed to move my POA down. To do this, I will need to "reset" my zero stop.

Once you set your zero stop, can you change it (Down in my case).

Thanks!

Sorry, I get it now.  I don't believe you can modify it without resetting it to the new zero.

You need to bring your POA up to bring your POI down to meet with your POA.  A zero stop is set to your preference of stopping at or near your zero... You set it previously, now you need to reset it. It is that simple. A zero stop would not be a zero stop if it let you continue  past it's initial setting.

Just back the zero stop off and simply set it to below your new zero.  You never want to setup your zero stop on your actual zero.
