Needing something with 30+  Elevation. Really like the price on the HD 5-20. Anything  else out there, the only thing I see in Nightforce is $2400+ Thanks

Not sure how great a deal some of these are, but Natchez has Leupold Mark 4 scopes on sale - http://enews.natchezss.com/q/AQnDGjyKdK-9Z4DkIDZGJO6Juv8Ly64lRvdLj5Prw8C3VeYQXP4i-ni36

The Bushnell 3.5-21DMR, ERS, and 4.5-30 XRS should all have 30MIL.

Yes 30 mils. Thanks guys. I think I'm leaning to the razor. Just trying to figure if the HD is worth $800 more. Really pass what I want to pay!?!?

The Vortex Razor 5-20 is a very good scope and well worth the money with it's features and elevation available.

What's your price range you are trying to stay in? And what rifle is it going and use that needs all the elevation?

Would like to stay under $2000. Going on RPR in 6.5 creedmoor. Going for 1 mile, with my zero now showing I need about 28 mils up. Wont always being shooting that far just want a scope that I can correctly use at that distance. Just hoping that 20 power is ok. I have a 24 now. I have shot my friends Rem 260 that far it has 25 power so idk. I know rule of thumb is 1 power for every 100 years so I should be ok.

I'm guessing you want to hit the mile at TVP.  6.5 can get there, but isn't going to do a good or be consistent.  That is honestly not something that is worth throwing a bunch of money at.  If you want to actually be able to shoot a mile with some repeatability you're going to need something that has more gas than a 6.5creedmor.

20x is more than enough to make a mile. I have shot to 2500 yards with a 408 Chey Tac on 17x on an MOA sized target. As mentioned though that is stretching out pretty far for the Creedmoor although it will make it when loaded right but if you wanted to do it regularly I would look at a larger caliber. The Razor 5-20 though would be an excellent optic for what you want and even on shorter ranges. I have had a few over the years and currently have one on a rifle I bring to classes when we teach as a loaner if needed.

YES...but it can and I want to...

Ok so if I ever get something else (don't think I will but...) I will just use that optic and get something to replace it on the 6.5.

Thanks Rob01

Yes I get it.( that's why I didn't start with what I was putting it on, just what I needed) Mainly will be 1000 yards

I just keep coming back to the razor, has everything I need for the price I want to pay. Just no one has mils in stock...

It can, but it is well into the subsonic range and has much more to do with luck than it does skill.  If you really want to shoot ELR pick the right tool for the job.

That said the Razor gen I is still a great optic.

Cameraland is great. My razor II 4.5-27. Will be here on Tuesday. Camerland went out of their way to make sure I had the scope within two weeks of me ordering it. Also got it way below listed price. It's being drop shipped from vortex, already got tracking info. Its going on the RPR as soon as it gets here. Now... What to do with one of my psts? Another rifle or sell one.........
