Don't know if this is the right place or not, but.... I have an AR pattern rifle in 260 Remington, with a Weaver Tactical 3-15x scope and the standard A2 buttstock.  I currently have Seekins "AR height" rings, and when shooting prone I have to strain to get my eye back far enough and up enough to get a good scope picture.

The Seekins rings are 1.5" top of rail to centerline, and I can't move the scope any farther forward due to the adjustment piece coming up against the forward ring...and its as far forward as it can go on the upper.

So, does anyone know of a one-piece mount with a "cantilevered" forward ring and a 1.25" height to centerline?

Thanks!

Got a GG&G scout rail and some 1" high rings....problem solved, and there's a lot more variety in heights for standard rings than there is in one-piece cantilevered  mounts.

Night force makes one that has a 1.125" centerline.  Works great for me.

Badger Ordnance makes their Unimount in a 1.30" height.  That's what I run on one of my AR's.

Won't work with the Weaver 3-15. They do make a 1.375 mount that will work.

I would prefer a 1.20" centerline height with the Weaver 3-15. I've got two Larue LT 152 aimpoint mounts I plan to try with the Weaver 3-15 as they are 1.2" to centerline. They worked pretty well with my Weaver 2-10 on an AR 15. Height was great but needed some forward offset. I moved the 2-10 into the 1.125 NF mount. I think the Larue's will work better on a AR 10 receiver though.

ETA: NF 1.125 mount might work well if you don't have a continuous top rail on your forearm.

ETA2:  Here is a Weaver 3-15 on my MK12 ish build.  I've decided the Weaver will come off and be replaced with a 44mm objective scope because it just sits to high with the 50mm objective over the PRI rail that adds .450 to the height over bore.

Here is a Weaver 2-10x36 in a nightforce unimount 1.125, as you can see it would work with the 50mm objective 3-15 if you had a tubular style hand guard.

Here is a Weaver 2-10x36 in twin Larue LT152 mounts.  This setup didn't have as much forward offset as I like, but should work on an AR10 based platform as long as your not a NTCH shooter.  The height was great.

I wish LaRue made an extended LT120.

An extended LT120 would be nice to see.

RRA cantilever scope mount is a great option, and at a good price.  I have one on my AR-15.  I also have a LaRue 745 on my grendel.  The LaRue has 20 moa built in which is nice but to be honest it sits lower than is comfortable for me.  The RRA mount holds the scope at a very comfortable height.

Here is how they both look:
