| Ordered my A2 stock kit from White Oak and assembled everything correctly. However, it seems the spacer moves inside the stock as I can hear it rattling. Thought it was the trap door on the butt of the stock, but isolated it to the spacer. Would I have been given a bad spacer? It also looks like the screw from the buttstock to the buffer tube is only engaging by three threads. I've tried contacting WOA, but nothing back as of yet. I know it shouldn't affect the rifle at all, but it's driving my OCD crazy. |

What screw length do you have? The original screw length used on the Colt 601-604 is shorter. The M16A2 has a longer screw. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0603/Ekie12091941/variation%20guide/buttstockscrews-1.jpg I have the long screw |

Is the front of the stock fully forward?
With the stock fully seated and forward, does any of the butt screw stick out? Smack the butt forward with the palm of your hand. Does any of the screw stick out? If the screw isn't fully seated, remove the stock and screw the screw into the buffer tube to clean up the threads. Reinstall butt , spacer, and install screw. Measure the length at the top of the butt stock. It should be 10 3/32". This is the external surface, not the recessed steps for receiver/butt plate fit. If this is out of spec, the spacer will float around. |

I ordered the stock along with a lower parts kit and ACT trigger from WOA figuring everything would be to spec. Definitely got my money's worth in the trigger, just let down on the stock. |
