| Was wondering how similar an ar-10 build is to the ar-15 build .new at the building game really want to go up in caliber |
| When it comes time to purchase a barrel, have it headspaced to your bolt or buy a bolt that was matched with that barrel. Tolerances with the .308 aren't as tight as the AR-15 and headspace does need to be checked. Also, large platform AR's run best with longer gas systems and adjustable gas blocks. Sometimes it takes some tuning to get them to run right. Cheap parts are cheap (Ex. if you find a BCG at a great price, it ain't because its a good deal). Other than that, its pretty simple. |
