| I would really like an AR-10 and like the idea of a piston one since I'll be running a can. I've also always been a big fan of Ruger guns. Can anyone tell me what kind of accuracy I could expect out of the Ruger SR762? |

Slightly abbreviated from my July 2014 issue of American Rifleman: At 100 yards: Barnes VOR-TX 150gr, Velocity - 2668fps, Average group size - 1.18" Hornady Steel Match 155gr, Velocity - 2435fps, Average group size - 1.15" Norma Match 168gr, Velocity - 2459fps, Average group size - 1.66" Average Extreme Spread - 1.33" |

The whole "piston runs better than DI, with a can" thing is a myth. The gas you're getting in your face/in the action is coming from back pressure in the chamber, not the gas system. They all run dirty when suppressed. What about the capability of quickly tuning it for can vs unsuppressed? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4miCIq-EWhk Yes, I'm familiar with adjustable gas blocks. I have a syrac and it's not the smoothest thing to adjust. |

It wasn't designed to be a quick adjust gas block for suppressors like the Noveske Switchblock. You can get gas blocks that are made easy to asjust for supressor use, or you can just run a suppressor with the Syrac set right. |

I've shot 1/2 MOA groups with Wolf 55gr FMJ before. Quoted:

I've gotten moa accuracy with plain PMC 147 FMJ. No complaints at all. I've shot 1/2 MOA groups with Wolf 55gr FMJ before. Not sure if you're being sarcastic... Haven't had much coffee yet.... If it's what I think; by moa I certainly did not mean "sub" moa with PMC. After re-reading my post, I see I failed to put a number with it. |

The number in front of the MOA can make a big difference. ;)
My post was sarcasm, with my point being any rifle can produce a MOA or better group with any ammo. What matters is what the rifle can do on a consistent basis. I have never seen any ball ammo capable of MOA or better accuracy. Although, that doesn't mean you can't get lucky. |
