Thanks. I did a reverse paint job of my 700 LTR .308win.

The .308 has a tan base coat with green and brown applied over the grass medium. The 300wm has a green base coat with brown splotches, and tan applied over the grass medium.

Edit: Had a part list typed up but I must have neglected to hit submit.
Started as a Tikka CTR. Went to the fellows at Insite Arms for the .308 Hardy Barrel and heathen. Later came the  MDT XRS with a Sterk Swept handle. Near Alphamount with level and Kahles K318i with SKMR3. Yodave trigger spring, MDT rail, Atlas bipod and MDT mag with no binder plate.
Still doing some load development with some really promising velocities - 2600 FPS with 178gr. Enough in my area to get me to 1100m supersonic. I was initially concerned with the short barrel, and certainly have reason to be with some factory loadings (cough cough winchester match), but the handloads are pretty wicked.  600m is pretty darn easy with this set up.

Carbon fiber theme here:

Tikka T3 CTR action
Proof Research CF 22" 6.5 Creedmoor
TBAC CB mount
Spartan javelin CF bipod
XLR carbon chassis
Smokes Composite CF stock
Smokes Composite CF grip
Lumley CF knob
Murphy Precision Ti rail
Leupold VX6 3-18x44mm
Nightforce ultralight rings

10lbs as shown. Magnesium option from xlr (not available in carbon model), a 20" bbl (not available in Proof Research prefit), Ti action + fluted bolt and a sub 22oz (current) scope could have rounded out at least a pound of weight savings.

Savage 10 Trophy that started life as a sporter barrel .308.
Larue TQ 7.62 Brake
Viper HST 4-16x44

Rebarreled with a Proof Research carbon 6.5cm  which required that the stock be inletted for the barrel twice the size. I also glass bedded the action, it’s been a fun little project.

Currently I’m developing a load around the 143 ELDx.

When I first bought my lathe a friend wanted a heavy 308 barrel installed on his 308 . Starting from a green mountain blank I turned threaded and chambered a new tube. He shot it for a couple years but had occasional flyers and the barrel finish look like crap .
We chopped off two inches threaded and fluted the barrel . Added some OD green cerakote to the barreled action then properly bedded the McMillan stock . The guns a hammer now with an old load cant wait to see it shoot with a worked up load.

Nothing fancy

First bolt gun/precision rifle. B-14 HMR in 6.5cm. Threw a harris swivel on it. Factory 20moa base.

Only things going on it are a can, nf 4-32 in nf rings, and a SAP 2 rounder. Maybe a leveler?

Flame away!
