My first choice in glass for this rifle was the PST Gen 2 with EBR-2C MRAD reticle. No one had it in stock for a decent price or they were back-ordered months. When I grow out of this one I am sure I will have another rifle that can use it. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Originally Posted By JSchell1309:

The trigger guard is all metal and the alum chassis section is very tight tolerance. getting the action block to line up with the action was a tight fit. no slop on this thing. Wish I could say the same for the tactical bolt handle which does have a very small amount of wiggle if you really look for it, not noticeable in use though. Nicest bolt gun I own, almost sad its a .223. The flash kinda washes out the colors. it looks better in person. Want to ceracoat the whole thing some day. Funny thing is, when I ordered this I was waffling between the element and this. I originally wanted more of a "chassis" and less of a "stock" but the lower price and not having to buy a buttstock for it won me over. |

Got out to the range today. Regular ol' Rem 700 cut to 20" in .308, not trued or bedded yet, Surefire socom 762-rc suppressor, 175 gr FGMM. Haven't fully figured out reloading yet, but that's in the cards.
Also shown is the CZ 455PT 22lr Attached File Attached File I always shoot groups like this, 4 shots touching or very close, then the 5th is farther off. Can't figure out if I'm just psyching myself out. 100 yards Attached File 2 shots on 300 yard steel Attached File Not sure how many I got on this 600 yard plate, it's so beat up that it's hard to see hits on there sometimes.
