Thinking of selling my Leupold 12x thats on my R700 223 LRT..... Scope is good, but I kind of like the VXR line of scopes, only need a 3x9 its only a 223.... Any other suggestions... I like to keep it around 500.00 without a firedot.... Maximum distance I can shoot at a local range is 500.....

I can try and suggest a couple. On the low end I have a primary arms 4-14 w/ acss reticle on my 22lr bolt gun. It works pretty damn good for under 300 bucks. Seems like it was even closer to 200 with the 10% off coupons you always seem to find at OP.
The second one I have only seen briefly as my buddy just got an Athlon midas btr 2.5-15 for his 308 bolt gun. I only looked through it for a few minutes but he seems to really like it for around $500. I know they aren't 3-9 but a little extra mag never hurt, Athlon might have a 2-10, I would check out some of there offerings, and good luck with the decision. |
