I have one shortened to 18". It will have a SiCo brake on it shortly for a Saker 7.62. I can post pics of it if you would like.

Tag for interest. I have a .308 and a .243 and really want them both cut to 16.5 with a compact stock on the .243.

Sorry for the long delay. I'll post more when I get the brake, scope, bipod and suppressor on it.

I'm wanting to cut my 243 to 18". Glad to see that it can be done.

eastTXhunter did the cutting and threading for me. Check out his thread in the EE in the service section. I just sent him the barreled action. Disassembly is pretty easy just a couple hex bolts holding the stock and two roll pins holding in the trigger group.

Awesome. That's where I planned on sending them. I may go 16.5" on the .308 and 18" on the .243. Then I need a Harvester or something similar.

Nice! I'm torn between the Hybrid, Omega, and Harvester. I have QD cans and this will almost strictly be for these lightweight hunting bolt guns.

On a related note, what kind of accuracy are you guys getting with yours? I'm only averaging around 2moa while my forty year old model 70 is consistently a 1moa gun or better.

Did you notice any improvement or change after cutting and recrowning?
