Changing the configuration of my rifle in an attempt to shave some weight. The biggest reduction will be from the scope but I'm switching out the chassis to a Magpul Hunter. I'm well aware that I'm not getting the performance of an $800+ stock or chassis but I'm not looking for competition level performance either, this rifle will accompany me in treestands while bowhunting whitetail so I can take care of coyotes when they make an appearance.
Just curious if anyone has any complaints with the Hunter? I haven't found any reason not to buy one but haven't placed the order yet. This is kind of my last step of research before pulling the trigger. |
