| Does anyone know where I can find a Ruger Precision .308 in stock? |
Gunbroker
But seriously, supply is extremely thin right now. I called just damn near every gun shop in my state and they all said it was a pain in the ass to find one and they had waiting lists. Found a single .308 but it was going for Gunbroker $1400 range crazy prices. |

I saw a couple at the new Field and Stream store in Greensboro roughly two weeks ago.
I bet they are gone now, but if you are remotely close you might check. I didn't look at the price, but most of the other stuff there seemed priced pretty fairly for a chain store. |

Sounds like my experience. What a flub to come out with a neat gun and not get it into the hands of customers with money. I won't pay 1400 for the ones on Gunbroker, fuck that. You're not the only one waiting,, or one with money in hand. IMO Ruger under valued their products demand. I'm waiting for an allotment / lgs buy. However if it takes more then 2 months, I'll end up building off a 700 action. I like the RPR for it's turn key ready to go set up. Versus doing from scratch build, which on paper will run another $200 ~ |

I've had one on order through my LGS since August 10th and am currently #3 on their list of 6.5 Creeds on order since early August. So far not a single one has come in in any caliber. Worse yet, they have no accurate estimate as to when they will be in as their supplier is not getting very many per week and has backlogs with all dealers. I've been told Ruger is producing around 400-500 RPRs per month in the various calibers and that the current backlog at current production rates is approaching the two year mark. Ruger is supposedly looking at means to increase production but that in itself will take some time to achieve. |

After the first batch of rifles disappeared and I missed the boat. I found all the websites that had back in stock email notification. In late September, received an email from Sportsman Outdoor. And had a .308 in hand shortly after for $1099 shipped.
And I was finally able to take it out yesterday. Wow! A very nice shooting rifle. And I was able to slap around a gong at 200 yards with very little effort. Quoted:
