Anybody have experience with this trigger: http://www.amazon.com/Rifle-Basix-Savage-Trigger-Centerfire/dp/B001OPPP82/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1446677113&sr=8-11&keywords=timney+trigger

Tried finding a Timney on Amazon and found that one.

The competition trigger from Sharp Shooter Supply is the direction I am going.

I have no first hand experience, but of the choices it gets good reviews. So do the Rifle Basic, lots of people like them.

I own a few Rifle Basix triggers.  I had a SSS trigger and it was fine too...I just cannot stand SSS as a company...their CS is a joke and their communication sucks.  There are better companies to buy from online.

Never owned a Timney for my Savages as I didn't think they were worth the extra money.

I have a Rifle Basix in a 7mm-08. I like it. It is pretty smooth and has a decent amount of adjustment.

Damn. There are a LOT of people who have had a bad experience with SSS.

Good stuff. Horrible service.

I bought a timney as I had read too many complaints about SSS. The rifle basic was an option I considered, bit it was out of stock at the time.

I have no complaints with the timney at all. It was an easy install and breaks with no creep around 2 lbs and can go lower if desired. I was glad to dump the accutrigger. I find thr trigger face agreeably wide for me and it is one of my favorites even over more expensive triggers.

RB is an outstanding trigger for Savage rifles.
