Mounted my scope on my Remington 700 not just stock this one has a Kreiger barrel,Timney trigger and Mcmillan stock.Anyway after boresighting it I tried one round which went off then I tried another it also fired.I tried a third and nothing just a light dent in primer.I changed ammo and again a light primer hit.I tried another different ammo and again it wouldnt go off.I scooped up that ammo and tried it in an AR10 all went off. What could be the problem

the sear on the Timney doesn't hold the cocking piece on the bolt as far back as the factory trigger sear does. it may be one reason for the light strikes.

How would I remedy that?

just email/call timney and tell them u are getting light strikes, they will send u a proper sear.

heres a comparison of the 2. the one in the rear is a tad longer so it is able to hold the cocking piece/firing pin more rear ward
