I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this question, but will any ARD/killflash fit in a Vortex 50mm optic as long as the ARD is for a 50mm bell

I don't know for sure but I am going to say no due to different ways of manufacturing from different companies.

A 4" sunshade would do a fair job of reducing objective reflection.

i have a sunshade  i was just looking for an ARD to eliminate having to use the sunshade i know vortex used to make ARD but discontinued them

I prefer a killflash to a sunshade big time too. Your best bet is to call the company.

Get one of the versions that fit inside a Butler Creek scope cap - iirc they work regardless of model.

This.

Or you could make your own by purchasing the honeycomb material and cutting it to fit.

ETA: I'm gonna order some and cut it to fit my new Vortex Defenders.
